Since I submitted my ireport on CNN ( http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-928197 ) I have received two HUGE invitations!! The first was to share my story on Cradle My Heart Radio ( http://cradlemyheart.org/ ) with Kim Ketola! This will be my first radio interview and will take place this Sunday, March 3rd at 6pm pacific time. By going to the website at that time you can listen live, or you can wait for the podcast which should be out the next day. I am really excited about this, because mom will be speaking for a time too. This will be our first time sharing together, and I think her most public ‘share’ to date! I am so proud of her. Because of her strength in sharing the truth, and her support of my work, I am able to speak much more freely than many siblings I know. We are fighting to change that.
A few weeks later, on Tuesday the 26th, I will fly out to Cincinnati, Ohio where I will be filming a segment for Facing Life Head On ( http://www.facinglife.tv/ ) as part of a special about post abortive sibling pain. This’ll be my first TV interview as well. I am glad it’s not done in front of a live audience. 🙂
In addition to those, Live Action and LifeSiteNews have both printed an article written by Kristi Burton Brown (http://liveactionnews.org/the-suffering-brothers-and-sisters-of-aborted-children/, http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/the-suffering-brothers-and-sisters-of-aborted-children ) which has led to even more exposure of our issues. I am honored that a bit of my story was shared there, including links to this blog and my two facebook pages (beyond my profile: Abortion Hurts Siblings And Others, and my group just for siblings like us. ‘Secret’). Comment, message or whatever if you are interested in joining.
Also, for the first time ever, my reflection was shared in a book! It’s a collection of pro life stories: http://media.wix.com/ugd//ab9410_be10bb731df633daae207845b7274d18.pdf <— free pdf download.
This is all incredibly exciting and an honor and I wanna say thank you to all my readers, sharers, etc. May you all be blessed. Please keep me in your prayers, thoughts, etc.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for updates on the interviews!!
